Casa Dolce Vista is located outside the
small village of Cussorgia on the Island of Sant’ Antioco which is
linked by a road causeway to the south west coast of Sardinia. It is surrounded
by vineyards, olive groves, prickly pears, and orange trees. From the house
you look across the stunning countryside to the nearby sea with the islands
of San Pietro and Isola Piana, the town of Calasetta and to the mountains
of the mainland. In 15 minutes walking down a country path lined with fig
trees, cork, oak and especially prickly pears, you reach Cussorgia’s
sandy beach and crystal clear, shallow water. At the beach there is a café-pizzeria
open all year round.
The house has a three-sided shaded veranda (75m2) with tables
and chairs for al fresco dining.
There is a large front and back garden with Mediterranean plants and trees,
which you will share with the odd lizard also enjoying the sun! However,
rest assured there are no poisonous snakes in Sardinia!
Everywhere, you will find a great sense of beauty, space
and peace.
